embroidery

Here is the finished embroidery project I posted before (while in progress). This was done by hand and without any kind of pattern/image planned out.

I made this a while ago. I sewed it on the machine using an add from a magazine for the template. I pulled off the paper when I was done then added lines I thought were needed and hand washed it in the sink to get rid of any remaining paper.

I am feeling an urge to start embroidering more. I think it will fit in well with the domestic arts I am pursuing on a regular basis.
