Cute sign in a bus shelter a few weeks ago in northeast. I saw no one selling apples.

 Making spicy salt!

A coworker made some using ghost peppers. It was awesome. I had a surplus of mystery peppers from the farmers market. I decided to try making some using those.

Here is the 16 oz jar and the salt I used.

Here are the peppers I used.

 

Here is the 'finished' jar.

It will sit for a few days being shaken regularly, then I will mash it all around with a fork or spoon and break up the pepper pieces and let it sit some more. I hope it is spicy!
